Basically this article touches on the corruption in president Johnathan Goodluck's presidency. Goodluck has been accused of blackmail and wasting government money with his purchase of three planes for his protection when traveling. This means that now, president Goodluck has a whopping 10 planes in his fleet for protection. Several people see that he and his government is corrupted, and even the president has admitted that those in his cabinet are corrupted.
I feel that the people of Nigeria should not allow such corruption into the executive branch of their government. They already know that he is corrupted, so I don't understand why they keep him in office, it seems like a better idea to elect anyone else. What's worse i feel is that he admits to being corrupted, but does nothing to stop it. I also feel that the president should know better than to waste the money of his country for his own "protection".
This article ties into the political aspect of Nigeria because it discusses internal problems that Nigeria faces. The corruption that Goodluck has let into his presidency has been hurting the countries economy because of all of the frivolous spending and corruption that goes around. This can potentially destroy Nigeria in the long run and it must stop soon.
