This countries demographic transition is at stage 2 about. The reason I say this is because of Nigeria's birth rate and death rate. Nigeria's birth rate is at 40, while its death rate is at 14. If you trace those points on the graph above, then you shall come to the conclusion that Nigeria is in stage two of its demographic development. It's rate of natural increase is also relatively high, which is also characteristic of a stage 2.
